Better information = Better decisions. Stop relying on blind recommendations or star ratings.
Social media trends, library displays, bookstore picks, streaming announcements, and Amazon reviews all shape what you see. Bookrata lets you check the content for yourself.
Choose Based on Your Values
Filter books by overall rating, individual category ratings, or rating ranges. Then use tags to search for the themes, genres, and stories you want to read. You can also save searches for later. Bookrata gives you the information and leaves the decision to you.
Somewhere along the way, someone else started choosing for you.
Stores, algorithms, and paid placement can influence what you see. Digital ownership rules can also affect what you keep. Bookrata gives you another option, with clear content details and choices you can make for yourself.

Can You Trust Books in the School Library?
Many states have passed laws requiring schools to remove explicit books from their libraries. This example is from Utah. Somehow, it got past school librarians and labeled as a "teachers' pick" despite its explicit sexual content. Being on a school library shelf doean't mean it matches your values. Bookrata empowers you to decide.
